something to think about
i heard this quote from a tv show (<--see i can learn great things from watching tv LOL) and thought it was so fantastic!!!

counting down..
from today, there is only 19 days till i graduate from csuf! although i'll be coming back to school, it's just nice to know that i finished all my major (BS degree) units! it feels like i've been in school for so long, but my time at csuf totals only about 2 years or so...which isn't too bad. i'm grateful for my nursing school experience, but i am thrilled that i have found a passion for children and a passion to work with children with special needs...it helps to keep your hears/heart open, cuz thats when you (I) hear God, and His plans for you (Jer 29:11). i can't wait for may 22...i graduate that day and have my partyyy! so excited :) its been a long time comin, but once i walk across that stage, summer is all mine!

one day without shoes...
...go without shoes, so kids don't have to
if you're not familiar with the way the TOMS organization works, basically, when you buy a pair of TOMS, they donate one pair to a child all over the world...cool huh? it is!
i'm gonna post a pic of the card we got, and on the back of the card it reads: Go without shoes so kids don't have to. ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES is the day we raise awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child's life by taking off our own.
my friends and i had a great time being a part of this great cause!!
